Inspired by Colin Firth's character in A Single Man and most certainly intended to be part of his men's collection, I think they could be a fresh alternative for a woman - single or otherwise.

The complete opposite of the uber-flashy, oversized fashion frames of late. They don't scream glamour - but they whisper luxury.
