Love these ink on Mylar drawings by local artist Katina Huston. Here the subject is bicycle parts but there are others - horns, glassware and folding chairs.
Huston suspends the subject above a Mylar sheet and then traces the shadows they cast - blurring the lines between black & white photography and abstract drawings.
The result is a perfectly bold, graphically strong image that will have you longing for a series.
